HALFWAY — July is months away, but Halfway is already expanding plans for this year’s Fourth of July festivities. New this year is the gravel festival, which features two days of bike riding or walking different routes around the valley. Each ride begins and ends at Pine Eagle High School, and the entry fee will support the fundraising effort for Grace Gulick Community Track, which needs to be resurfaced. So far, the community has raised about $25,000 toward the total goal of $610,000.
